Objectives
- This project aims to establish
a sustainable, integrated management system for the county
of Valdorva, promoting the best use of mycological resources
while ensuring the conservation and enhancement of the producing
ecosystems' biodiversity.
- The project will set up the vertical
integration and participation of the various socio-economic
sectors involved in sustainable development of the mushroom
resource: the rural population, processing industry, tourism,
and the forestry sector, contributing to a higher valuation
of the fungus-producing ecosystems.
- Collection methods and ecological
labeling will be developed.
- Regulatory systems will be developed
established to protect the fungi and their natural habitats,
and to ensure proper harvest from the site.
